Camshaft Bearing
If your head has slightly warped cam journals or other journal damage, all is not lost. By line-boring the camshaft journals and installing our cam bearing kit, you can keep your current head and regular camshaft. Cam bearings are not needed if the cylinder head is not damaged.
NOTE: The use of cam bearings requires line boring of cam journals to 1.3837" - 1.3845" with cam caps torqued to proper spec. If the head is severely warped, it will need to be straightened or replaced.
