Residual Valve
(2 PSI)
When converting your rear drum brakes to disc you will need to hold pressure on the rear line to keep the pads in contact with the rotors. If you don't then you will have to pump your pedal to get a firm brake feel. This residual valve plumbs into your rear brake hardline and will retain 2lbs of pressure on the line. This is just enough to hold the pads in place and keep a solid pedal feel.
NOTE: Optional Swagelock to make plumbing of the residual valve easier, see Part #: 1055434.
