Pro Valve Train Kit
(High Performance W/ Options)
LC Engineering has taken the guesswork out of your 5VZ valve train. These valvetrain kits will supply you with all the compatible parts to upgrade the valve train on your performance engine.
Intake & Exhaust Valves
These swirl-polished valves have all of the performance features of our oversize valves but don't require the bowl and chamber work to unshroud the valves. These stainless steel valves are lighter than the stock steel valves and have a special anti-friction coating to promote better airflow across the valve as well as reduced resistance in the guide, resulting in better valvetrain stability. Valve size is 34mm intake and 27.5mm exhaust.
Dual Valve Springs
The Pro Dual Valve Springs are a "must-have" upgrade when running bigger lift cams and higher RPM's. With 75lbs of seat pressure at 1.400" install height and open pressure of 215lbs (at .450" lift) they will work perfectly with any naturally aspirated or low boost application (0-20 lbs of boost). These springs are rated up to 8,000 RPM and will accommodate cam lifts up to .455". Coil Bind on these springs is at .500" from Install height.
HD Dual Valve Springs
The Pro Dual Valve Springs are a "must-have" upgrade when running bigger lift cams and higher RPM's. With 100lbs of seat pressure 1.400" install height and open pressure of 225lbs (at .450" lift) they will work perfectly with any high boost application (20+ lbs of boost). These springs are rated up to 10,000 RPM and will accommodate cam lifts up to .515"!
Titanium Retainers
These lightweight retainers allow the valves to open and close faster and more consistent by reducing the drag and load on the springs. The titanium also provides superior strength and durability which means your engine can rev faster and higher than ever with no reliability worries.
Hardened Keepers
These keepers are specifically designed to work with our titanium retainer, which means you aren't getting some universal keeper that is made to fit who knows how many different applications. The keepers are also hardened to give you the most durable and longest-lasting parts available.
31mm Bucket
These 31mm Cam Followers are designed for use with larger profile cams
in your 5VZ engine. The larger outside diameter allows the cam profile
to be much larger without the cam lobe rolling off the edge of the Cam
Followers. They will use our 8mm Pro Shims and fit directly into your
stock head with no modifications. Shims are not included. The sizes
cannot be determined until assembly occurs.
Viton Valve Seals
Why go to all the work of changing out your springs and not change the
seals while they are sitting there in the open? LC Engineering uses only
Viton seals which are proven to seal better and longer than any other
material on the market.
NOTE: This kit will require valve shims. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell which ones, until all head work is accomplished, and measurements are taken with the head torqued down on the engine block, with cams pre-installed.
