Our innovative U-Bolt Flip Kits redirect the spring bolt upwards and out of harm's way, offering enhanced ground clearance and minimizing damage to the threaded section of the bolt. Crafted with precision, these kits feature 9/16" U-Bolts perfectly matched to the axle tube (a notable improvement over square U-Bolts in other kits) and a chamfered bottom plate to avoid cutting into your leaf pack. SAFETY FIRST
NOTE: There are (2) different U-Bolt plates for the front axle. The plate with the wider bolt spacing go on the passenger side with the wider spaced side facing inward. The driver side U-Bolts are the same size and are smaller than the passenger side. The passenger side has 1 large U-Bolt and 1 squared U-Bolt that will go on the inner side aligning with the wider spacing on the plate.
IMPORTANT:
It is very important to torque the U-Bolts to 90 Ft. Lbs. using a quality torque wrench. It is also important to re-torque them after the first 500 miles of driving.
