The regulator's job is to keep the pressure in the fuel system at a constant psi. Your Toyota fuel pressure regulator controls the amount and speed at which fuel is used by your vehicle. A faulty fuel pressure regulator can cause poor fuel mileage, rough running engine or starting problems. This is a simple way to keep your fuel system running right.

I was over pressure in my fuel manifold creating cold start injector to leak and making for a hard warm start. Once the new pressure regulator was installed, no injector bypass and smooth acceleration. Right parts at a good price, very happy with results!
