Our cam followers are CNC machined from aerospace certified Chrome-Molybdenum-Vanadium alloy. They are fully nitrided and polished for improved durability and lower wear. These followers do require the valve adjusting shim to be located in the valve spring retainer, as in the 2011-2012 XP900. If converting a later model 1000, the early style retainers and shims must be used.
