We've put this kit together with a choice of the most popular pistons to match up with your build. We offer an available upgrade to main studs (+$110), your block will need to be prepped (your local machine shop should be setup to do it) to accept the stud kit.
NOTE: This kit ships with 2 sets of main bearings. We have found that since 1981-1982 was a transition year and there is no way to know for certain which block you have from the outside; sometimes people will have an early style block in their later year truck. Once you've pulled your main bearings you will be able to determine which bearing set you need.

When installing any of the Stroker crankshafts care must be taken by the installer to verify proper rotating assembly clearances. The Oil galley on number 1 and 2 cylinders must be notched approximately .080” to .120” for clearance of the rod nut; this amount may differ between rod combinations. You should have a minimum of .030” clearance between block and rod bolts.
