Seal Saver

(Rear Main)

Do you have a pesky oil leak coming from the rear main seal? Don't just keep swapping out rear main seals. LC Engineering carries this seal saver that slides right over the rear hub of the crank and rides between the crank and the seal. This will keep the seal riding on a beautiful smooth finish and get rid of that oil leak without regrinding or replacing your crankshaft.

LC Engineering also offers a front balancer seal saver Part #: 1016115

4 of 5 Viable option...worth a try May 27, 2021

I came onto a 1984 Toyota 4x4 pickup essentially free.  The engine had been overhauled by the PO but it was a low budget machine shop job.  There were issues.  What started as a timing chain replacement developed into a bigger project.  I decided to pull the engine and replace some of the cheap parts using quality replacements from LCE.  Long story short...fix it well enough to last a bit longer. I'll try to source a 1985 or newer block, get an LCE build down the road.  Meantime, I hope the seal saver buys me time and mileage.
